The Hampton Court Guest House is situated in the heart of the city centre. The guest house has been awarded 2 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board. It is a family run business which has the comfort of home, and had been recently upgraded to a higher standard. It is a traditional town house building, just a stones throw away from many of the main attractions of Glasgow. The guest house is close to all the main amenities, attractions, theatres, cinemas, pubs, clubs and various major shopping centres. Furthermore, a great number of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines are only a short stroll away. The excellent location of the guest house ensures that there are reliable and frequent transport links to and from the Glasgow and Prestwick Airport. In addition, the Buchanan Bus Station, Queen Street Station and Central Station are all less than a mile, making this guest house an excellent choice for those on business and likewise, those visiting Glasgow in order to soak in the ambience of the city. We offer excellent, competitive prices all year round as well as a comfortable stay with friendly staff available at all times should you require any assistance. 
McLays offers great value budget accommodation in the heart of the city centre. We are superbly located for visiting Glasgow’s many museums and art galleries and just minutes away from Glasgow’s finest shopping streets Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street where in addition you shall find an excellent selection of restaurants, bars, cinema’s, nightclubs etc. All the main transport points Glasgow Central Station, Queen Street Station and Buchanan Bus Station are easily accessible. We are approx 15/20 minutes walk from all or 5 minutes by taxi. Please note the walk from all these stations is all uphill in particular from Central and Queen Street Stations, if you have heavy baggage or have walking difficulties a taxi is strongly recommended. The rooms also have television, satellite channels, teacoffee facilities and telephone. The rooms are available from 1.00pm onwards and the check out time is 11am. If you arrive before 1.00pm you can leave your baggage with us. We serve breakfast daily from 7am to 9am. We do not have a car park and parking is on the street only and is restricted due to our very central location. Glasgow City Council has a voucher scheme in operation for parking and we can supply the vouchers on their behalf for a nominal cost to enable parking. The cost from 4pm to 8am the next day is £2.00. The cost from 8am to 2pm is £2.00. The cost from 8am to 4pm is £4.00. There is also a 24 hour multi-storey car park 2 minutes drive away from the guest house. McLays Guest House has 81 bedrooms and guests can choose between single rooms, twin rooms, double rooms, family rooms with 1 double and 1 single bed and family rooms with 1 double and 2 single beds. We have 58 rooms with ensuite shower/toilet and 23 rooms with wash-hand basin which share communal bathrooms on the corridors. Guests can enjoy relaxing, chatting, reading or watching television in one of the 2 spacious and comfortably furnished TV lounges. McLays has 4 dining rooms offering a choice of breakfast menu complimentary to all guests. We also have for guests use, computers for internet access, there is a £2.00 cost for 30 minutes use, if you have your own laptop then we provide free wi-fi access but only around our public areas, a access code is required for this which we will provide. We have a lift but in only in one of the four buildings which make up the guest house. We are in a particularly hilly part of the city centre, there are also 15 steps from street level to our main entrance. Please note any reservation for more than one room or any reservation which is for all male groups are accepted but at our discretion only and a deposit may be asked for, we decide the amount of the deposit, if the reservation is not willing to pay a deposit then we will not accept the reservation.

Once checked in, you get your room key and front door key and can come and go as you please. The Alamo is a friendly family run Guest House, which overlooks Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park with views of Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, as well as Glasgow University. This elegant 1870 Victorian building is within easy walking distance (3 - 20minutes) of the main 3 areas of Glasgow; The City Centre (The Maclellan Gallery, Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow School of Art, Willow Tea Rooms, Modern Art Gallery, George Square, the Lighthouse, Theatres etc.); The West End (Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow University, Hunterian Museum & Gallery, Mackintosh House, Kelvin Hall, Museum of Transport, Botanical Gardens, Byres Road, Ashton Lane etc.); Riverside (Science Centre, IMAX Cinema, the S.E.C.C. etc.). Also within 2 minutes walk are some of the best restaurants, bars, cafes and pubs in Glasgow. We are only ten miles from Glasgow’s International Airport (20 minutes by car). All local buses, to almost all of Glasgow, as well as the Glasgow Tour Bus are 2 minutes away. Day trips touring the West Coast, Highlands, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and The Clyde Valley are all within easy reach.
